KOS (KallistiOS), also from Dan Potter, is a development library AND operating system that will probably soon supercede Libdream as the best tool for homebrew developers to use in creating Dreamcast software. It is free and legal just like libdream, and provides many of the same functions as libdream, and many more, for things such as file system access, memory management, threads and more. It also is an operating system, which can run and load KOS-including ELF binaries from a CD and play them as regular DC software.

To setup KOS Download and extract it to your "/usr/local/" directory.
